Justin Randall Timberlake or simply known as Justin Timberlake is a singer, songwriter, businessman, record producer, actor and philanthropist. He was born on January 31, 1981 in Memphis, Tennessee. Justin started his career as a child by having appearances on multiple TV shows such as The All-New Mickey Mouse Club and Star Search. It was in the late 1990s where Justin began his journey to stardom when he became one of the lead singers in the famous boy band NSYNC.

The boy band NSYNC was formed in 1995 when Justin recruited JC Chasez to be part of a group of male singers. These two guys first met and started their career as part of the TV show The Mickey Mouse Club. They then became the lead singers of the boy band and the group eventually built their career in Europe.

In 1998, the boy band rose to stardom in the United States where they released their first album and sold over 11 million copies worldwide. The album includes their hit single “Tearin’ Up My Heart” where it received many recognitions in several music hit charts. Their second album No Strings Attached was released in the year 2000 and has sold 2.4 million copies on its first week. This album includes the very popular hit “It’s Gonna Be Me” which also became #1 on several hit charts.

In 2002, Justin released his first solo album Justified which includes great hits such as “Rock Your Body” and “Cry Me a River”. In 2006, Justin has released his second solo album Future Sex/Love Sounds and includes hits like “What Goes Around… Comes Around”, “My Love” and “Sexy Back”. Each of his albums has exceeded seven million in sales worldwide and this made Justin as one of the most successful and well-established singers of the decade.

From 2007 to 2012, Justin has shifted the focus of his career from singing to acting. He starred on several films such as Friends with Benefits, The Social Network, In Time and Bad Teacher.

By 2013, Justin made a comeback on his music career by releasing his third and fourth album. The third one was The 20/20 Experience which became the best-selling record album of the year and includes hit songs like “Mirrors” and “Suit & Tie”. His fourth one, The 20/20 Experience – 2 of 2 includes some of the best hits such as “Not a Bad Thing” and “Take Back the Night”.

In 2014, Justin made an appearance on the posthumous record of Michael Jackson’s Xscape on the song “Love Never Felt So Good”. This record was produced by Timberlake himself alongside Timbaland and Jerome “J-Roc” Harmon. On May 14 of the same year, a music video was released that features Michael Jackson with Timberlake alongside numerous devoted Jackson fans who paid tribute to the king himself. This video was directed by Rich Lee and Timberlake which showcased some of Jackson’s famous dance moves.

Timberlake’s hard work in the industry has earned him 4 Emmy Awards and 9 Grammy Awards. Apart from the music and film industry, he also took part in other ventures such as the fashion label William Rast, record label Tennman Records and restaurants Destino and Southern Hospitality.
